  4. 60 years ago we had driving simulators in drivers education class. I thought they were pretty cool.

    1. Yeah I had one in my HS driving ed class in 72. We used them and then drove in cars on streets and freeways.

    1. It lets you feel the cornering g-load, but yeah. Much better for a flight sim.

  6. Tips you back to simulate acceleration, forward for braking, sidways for cornering could be cool but you can't get over 1G of force.

  7. There was a game/ride in a Las Vegas casino that was like a fighter pilot simulator. The seat was inside gimbals that allowed 3D movement (including barrel rolls). Never saw it anywhere else, but it was awesome.
