And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Pont de la Margineda is a bridge located in Santa Coloma, Andorra la Vella Parish, Andorra. It is a heritage property registered in the Cultural Heritage of Andorra. It was built in the 14-15th century. The bridge spans a river called the Gran Valira. The archstones are pumice, to keep the structure light. The walls are made of granite.
Excellent, as ever. Particularly nice to see a Citroen 2CV in the mix. I have one. Of all the cars I have ever driven, and I have driven a fair mix over the years, the 2CV remains my favourite drive. Huge fun.
If I could find a photo of the famous Blue Ridge Pkwy. Hanging Bridge around Grandfather Mtn. (NC), I'd send it. It was finished in the early 1980s and was/is a marvel of technology.
My favorite is the one with the dog.
