  1. I had a couple a Yamahas. '69 YCSIC and a '72 XS2. Both performed well and sounded great.

    1. Those 60's and early 70's Yamahas were often made with SE Asian virgin wood and were very good sounding instruments. Tight grain. Not a fan of the colored guitars.

  2. Had a Yamaha 12 string and an
    Alverez in the late 60's, early 70's. Traded for a very nice 1965 00018 Martin. Only one I have now is a beautiful 1964
    Guild Starfire IV hollowbody garage sale
    find. Only problem I have is I can't play fer
    crap. That's life I guess!
