  2. Soviet BT 7 Calvary Recon Tank. Actually, a very successful design but was used a an infantry support vehicle and its high speed was useless and thin armor was a problem. The 45 mm gun was quite powerful for pre-war tanks and could knock out a Panzer Mk1 and Mk2 early in the war.

    1. As a former scout in the Seventh Cavalry, I enjoy pointing out to folks that "Calvary" was where Jesus Christ was crucified, and "Cavalry" is a component in the United States Army.

  3. They used them through most of the war. The first tank armies involved with the encirclement of stalingrad were majority outfitted with these.
