And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Just have never seen the attraction of this. A celebration of 'can't do it very well,' using (abusing) materials that are increasingly rare and hard to find. It looks like a kid's first project.
I wonder if this is another AI fever dream. It appears to have a Cadillac heritage(badge above water pump). But that's the weirdest location for a distributor. I count at least 7 plug wires, but the rocker cover is in the middle of the engine. Is this a V8 laying 45 deg off vertical? Looks more like a dual plug 4 cyl., but the dist would be wrong then. The pee bottle seem to be plumbed to a surge tank of some kind, if you follow the hose, but its between the airbox and what looks like the hot side of the turbo. Pretty small for an intercooler, and no sign of the compressor. As mentioned, where might the radiator be, unless its a trailer queen of some kind. No radiators on dragsters either.
Alternator looks like it could power a subdivision. . . . Also - what to do with your J.C. Whitney Welder, fab up your own custom exhaust for the turbo chargers !
This whole 'rat rod' thing has gotten out of hand! I doubt this abomination even runs. It looks like a random assembly of someones idea of a motor. "Here, stick a couple of these on there somewhere!"
All show and no go. Without a radiator, it can probably run long enough to load it onto a trailer before overheating.
ReplyDeleteTheres one somewhere. Those two big hoses are going somewhere. The glass bottle is just an overflow no?
DeleteLove the crosscut saw / sun visor.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to guess that the owner wants the saw to look like monster teeth.
DeleteWhat's the little tank with pee in it for?
ReplyDeleteCoolant?
Deleteguzzle-lene, maybe - or coolant overflow as suggested. I'm seeing big coolant hoses and a water pump, so the 'rad must be in back.
