Dude's Retired, and living life large

  1. I had met a salesman for Cessna. They gave him a Caravan on floats to tool around the country.

I asked and with a smile he said you bet. The floats were stuffed with his personal camping gear and fly rods. He would put down at whatever lake or river if he knew he could takeoff from.
(Don't land somewhere until you know you can climb out of there.

He'd sell the plane then give familiarization checks to meet insurance requirements.

He also was a flight instructor and FAA examiner. I know he gave at least one pilot an ATP check ride using the Caravan.

What a way to earn a paycheck.

  3. Reminds me of the ww2 and Vietnam plane and heli surplus they turned into campers and tried to sell.
