  1. Ah yes, the spotted skunk (Spilogale sp), smaller and cuter than Pepe le Pew but still packs significant weaponry. Don't ask me how I know.

    1. I just looked spotted skunk up on Wikipedia and discovered there's a Western Spotted Skunk whose habitat covers the entire left coast. I've never seen one! And I've worked in the woods my entire life.
      Needless to say, I'm blown away that I didn't know they even existed.

    1. If you do an image search of Spotted Skunk you'll be convinced that's what this guy is.
      My search turned up several photos of them spraying, while doing a handstand. Acrobatic little buggers.

  5. Skunks are notoriously near sighted. Clap your hands, stomp your feet, yell - let them know you're in the area before they get too close.
