And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? I just looked spotted skunk up on Wikipedia and discovered there's a Western Spotted Skunk whose habitat covers the entire left coast. I've never seen one! And I've worked in the woods my entire life. Needless to say, I'm blown away that I didn't know they even existed.
If you do an image search of Spotted Skunk you'll be convinced that's what this guy is. My search turned up several photos of them spraying, while doing a handstand. Acrobatic little buggers.
Ah yes, the spotted skunk (Spilogale sp), smaller and cuter than Pepe le Pew but still packs significant weaponry. Don't ask me how I know.

My first thought.
ReplyDeleteSkunks are notoriously near sighted. Clap your hands, stomp your feet, yell - let them know you're in the area before they get too close.
