And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Hard cider? I used to enjoy a bottle of Rolling Rock right out of the ice chest on a hot summer day, but not since Anheuser Busch InBev bought them; now it's pisswater like the rest of their swill.
Gowans is a family owned apple orchard in the Anderson Valley. Been there in the same family for 150 years. Some of the trees came around the Horn in a barrel as cuttings. Still going strong.

DeleteGowans... wonderful cider. Nice farm in Kali's Anderson valley. If you ever have the chance to visit there it's well worth the stop.
