And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Why is it that an old Airstream trailer has the appeal that it does? There are prolly dozens of youtube channels that document the restoration of an Airstream and what a giant PITA it is. And despite all that, the idea of having an old-school, yet functional, and perhaps even newly-equipped, Airstream is a dream of many.
6 is from SE of Willcox, AZ (yes that is spelled correctly) looking at Dos Cabezas peaks. Also visible looking south from I-10 from San Simon to Dragoon. Lots of famous cavalry history in them hills - including Battle of Apache Pass, subject of an Audie Murphy movie. Also home of nearby Ft. Bowie (the AZ one.
Trivia - if you see a Saguaro cactus (the big multi-armed ones) the picture is from Arizona. Pic 20 is; 23 may not be :-).
That's my old International Scout 800, with the Sport-top. 4 bolts in the back, convertible latches over the window, take those loose, pop out the side rear vent windows, and I would walk the top off the tailgate on my back. Leave it off for the whole summer. What a bunch of fun times.
Thank you for this edition! Much better than last Friday. I really like the cacti flipping everybody off! Each spring I drive down the road flipping off evergreen trees as they flip me off while I pass them by...
