And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Women can be judged on a scale (Men are judged on a scale too. The scales that men are judged by are different than women's, but I'm digressing.). They're cute and adorable as young girls....then blossom into those good-looking, but still somewhat awkward teens. IMO, they're at their greatest physical beauty in their early-to-mid 20's. They've dropped that awkwardness, and have enough life experience to acquire most of their womanly attributes. From their early 30's their physical beauty begins to dwindle, yet they gain in the qualities that make for a good woman (for example, see Mrs-azlib.).
So it doesn't matter if that woman starts out as a plain-Jane wallflower or an absolute "10", she's at her best in her mid-20's. She's never going to look better or draw more attention than she does then.
And this is what puzzles me about facial piercings or adornments on these young women. She's already as beautiful as she's ever going to be. Not only does that piercing or adornment not add anything that she doesn't already have, it detracts from her beauty.
Speaking for the men in your lives: Girls, just stop it. You don't need any of that crap.
Pick a super-model of any era. Twiggy. Lauren Hutton. Hell, even Martha Stewart was a model (although admittedly, not quite a super-model). Are the pictures of her in her 60's as attractive as those of her in her 20's? I contend that they're not.
The woman in her 40's, 50's or 60's has a richness to her life that the camera can't capture, and in that sense, I think that she's a better woman. But based on physical characteristics only--the lack of a few wrinkles here, a little gray hair there--I think that the younger woman is more beautiful than the older.
azlibertarian is right on. He didn't say old women couldn't be attractive he said they're best in their 20s. Read what's there not what you think is there.
boney macaroni

As always, YMMV.

Elizabeth Hurley still looks pretty damn good
DeleteRaquel Welch and Sophia Loren remained beautiful well into their seventies. Bridget Bardot went the other way.

DeleteJust look at those nails! They are so long...yet are cut short! She reminds me of a concert musician, pianist, likely.

I didn't know semen crystalized ...
ReplyDeleteA pretty girl, but with a little too much experience in those eyes.
ReplyDeleteThat stupid eye bling is the most superfluous bit of adornment I've seen in some time.
