And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Guy at work had a Ducatti. Gave a girl a ride, she freaked and leaned the wrong way in a curve, now he has an arm that doesn't work and has to be tied off so it doesn't flop around. He wants the docs to amputate so he can get a prosthesis but they won't do it.
Nerve problems sometimes fix themselves. Had a housemate that slept on an arm wrong one night. Woke up with it dead, no control. Doc called it honeymooners arm. IIRC, the nerve was regenerating about an inch/month, normally. Sometimes it doesn't regrow. If it's been a couple years or more, I'd be inclined to look into HBOT, to see if that might jumpstart it. I've seen research on Magic Mushrooms in Great Britain that mentions that it encourages growth of brain tissue, so that might also be something to look into. Btw, it appears that MM is the safest drug known to mankind, as it has been in use for many thousands of years, and no known bad side effects recorded. Not much research on it in the US since it can't be patented by a drug company.
Back in 2010 I had an upgrade in Germany where I was there for 4 months. I pocketed the per diem and stayed with a friend. He had a first year Ducati 996 and a BMW R???? cruiser. He picked up both from soldiers that needed to make a quick sale because of duty station change and they didn't want to go through the hassle of a gray market bike. Both could handle Autobahn speeds. I gained a lot of respect for the European bikes.

I've had my Diavel for eight years now, going strong. The she-Devil can be a harsh mistress to those who take her lightly.

ReplyDeleteMy BMW K1100LT Special Edition is built for the autobahn. The ton is completely stable and comfortable, and accessed in a very short time.
