  2. I knew a guy who had one identical to the one pictured with the 427 cu in high output engine. A rocket!!

  3. back then they cast the year of the car into the tail light lens. you could identify the tear if you got close enough, but you tripped the trigger of insecure people.

  4. 1967 Galaxie. In 1968 the reverse light was changed to a horizontal bar separating the top and bottom red lights. My first car was a '68 XL 500 with the 428 Police Interceptor package.

  5. The chrome trim does not align.

  6. Look at the top edge of the trunk lid. The trunk lid is not fitted correctly, it's too high. Assuming there is no old accident damage to the rear quarter, adjusting the hinges and/or latch will bring the lid into alignment.

  8. gosh, now that i know that about the trunk gap, i wouldn't even consider this p.o.s. for my own.

    1. If you look at the paint, the chrome, the trim, it's obvious the car has been restored so there's no excuse for the gaps on the trunk to be that bad.
