And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Oh, to have the money to own the weapon and the freedom pills to have that much fun. Closest I ever came was fam firing aSAWS with a full belt a generation ago.
I had a buddy who was with 5th Group when I was in the 101 many years ago. They had an open range day because it was the end of the fiscal year and they needed to burn off excess ammo. I got to shoot an AK-74 on full auto and the experience was similar to that pictured, as I was shooting at a steel silhouette. The little 5.45mm round was surprisingly controllable.
Will someone please let me know what that is?!
ReplyDeleteIt is a metal target. It is being shot by bollits.
DeleteWho ever is firing has some practice with the weapon.

ReplyDeleteJudging from the sparks, it must be steel-core ammo?
ReplyDeleteMixed ammo in the mag. Stupid. May have punched a hole in the target.
