And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I believe Barnes and HSM factory ammo uses Starline brass. There are probably others too. A guy would be safe shooting cowboy action loads in that thing but I sure wouldn't be shooting Barnes high zooty ammo in it.
Nice picture, but not historically accurate. This is a modern piece with modern ammo.

ReplyDeleteYup. "Tuco Special" by Cimarron. I have an 1862 Navy conversion in 38 special by Navy Arms. Original chambering was in 38 Colt.
DeleteStar Line brass, that is one of the favorite head stamps for reloaders. That could be anything in that chamber.
