And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Today in Redding: 108 and smokey. Plus, that classic Jeep!
I drove down the coast yesterday from Washington to Sonoma county Calif. No smoke, just fog and no where near three digits! Well no where until we went inland. I think I'll go back north by lake Shasta just to see how low it is and compare it with what I remember from my drive by during the drought in 1977.
I wonder if there are any current production cars that will support two people on the roof?
