  2. Can you imagine someone wanting to hold a race like this in the U.S.? Never happen because our Govt. will NEVER EVER allow us to have that much fun. America is dead.

  5. I have trouble with balance(inner ear). this makes me wobble just watchin, jus like the guys on the clock makes me dizzy also. cant look down OR up anymore.

  10. Almost 38 miles PER LAP! Virtually no runoff areas if you screw up or break something at speed, since it is all real roads around an island.

    The story of "Mike the Bike" on his return after about a decade of retirement was astounding. Wanted to give it a go in '79, IIRC, so some people arranged for him to get a factory Ducati to compete in Superbike. Made a lap during practice, and commented that he remembered all the corners, and the bumps were still the same. Was told that he had broken the flying lap record by a couple seconds from a standing start!
