And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

No, officer, I don't have it anymore. A snake ate it.
Lightning strike nailed mine. I was out about 12 miles off the East coast on a 36 foot boat a while back and thought I'd need it to fight off a hoard of sharks. Turned it into a ball of molten steel & plastic before it blew it into the ocean.
This photo was exactly how the snake looked just before it struck at me, and caused me to abandon ship by leaping overboard. Alas, that was the last time I saw my firearm or my boat.
