And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The silly fad of fixing up vehicles and not taking care of the body with some decent paint will some day pass. For the love of GOD!!!! Bust out a DA, clean up that Power Wagon and squirt some paint on that thing!!!! -Snakepit
I don't know if it's just a fad, Snakepit, and I kinda like the idea of the beat up look, with the power hidden under the hood. I think you'd like these rigs, then. Hit the link and take a look.
I guess I got to go with the old De Soto and the old truck that got turned into ATV's
ReplyDeleteI like both of those also, but I'd take the DeSoto, hands down.
DeleteI also like the idea of a vintage car tricked out for desert buggy use. That 'lasso the moon' is also a good photo.
DeleteDitto on the DeSoto. There are other pics of that contraption floating around the innernets; hie thee hence and have a lookit.
DeleteA VW camper at the beach is always a good thing to see! So is the Milky Way...
ReplyDeleteThanks again for a wonderful Open Road and my weekly mini-vacation
ReplyDeleteJust step right out on the ramp and the next thing you know....WOOSH!...you're flying!
ReplyDeleteGood set, got better as it went along

What brand is that old truck. Tried searching but couldn't figure it out. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWhat's better than a cowboy hat on the dash? Two cowboy hats on the dash.
ReplyDeletePlacement of that surf board makes for interesting ride.
