And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I was in the parking lot at a grocery store in Healdsburg yesterday evening hanging out with the grandkids as shopping was done inside the store. A number of different homeless looking people wandered thru the parking lot eyeing things.
Reminded me of that time in Las Vegas at a 7-11 half a block off the strip in the middle of the day watching a couple of guys casing customers and watching for cops
@ ghostsniper - If a crazed 250 lb addict is bull rushing me a .22 might slow him/her/it down, but no guarantee that it will stop them. Yeah, they might die later. If you gut shoot them they can enjoy a nice case of peritonitis before they expire.
I was watching "Cops" the other day and they were serving a warrant on felon who had skipped parole and they confiscated one of those from him. It looked really old and I didn't recognize it at the time but it was loaded with a round in the chamber. I guess there are still a few around.
