  1. Looks hand lettered. Sign painting disappearing.

    1. I'm still at it. However, the craft is certainly disappearing. When it comes to vehicles everybody insists on vinyl. But a great old truck like this ought to be hand-lettered. https://www.santafesignmaker.com/

  2. When I was a kid, Dad bought a Studebaker pickup. My older sister immediately branded it 'the Stupidbaker'.

  3. Must be a time machine seeing how it was restored in 1909 and used from 1920 to 1962.

  4. I can't get the sign to make sense. Restored 1909?

    1. The thing looks older than 1920 as well. Trucks were as boxy as the cars were at that time.

  6. Had a '52 pickup I got for $50. It was in good running and driving shape but it needed painting and some interior work but I was still in school and didn't have any money for it. These trucks were way ahead of the others in styling.
