  2. Lovely.
There's stuff in that book I don't agree with.

    1. I don’t doubt that for a second. And yet, belief in the inerrancy and infallibility of scripture is not what saves. Who do you say Jesus is? What did he do, and what does that mean for you as an individual man? Agreement with and obedience to the scriptures can only come from faith in Jesus Christ as one’s savior. I pray that you experience the joy of believing and knowing Christ as your own savior.

    2. It is appointed once for a man to die and after that, the judgment…all die eventually, and there is only one savior…the worst thing a person could ever hear is Jesus saying to you “depart from me, I never knew you “!

    1. A question can express a challenge rather than a sincere request for information. Yours seems a sincere request.
Take a look here, especially at verse 6:

    2. And this

“Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand,
2 and by which you are being saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you-unless you believed in vain.
3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures,
4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures,
5 and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.
6 Then he appeared to more than five hundred brothers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have fallen asleep.
7 Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles.
8 Last of all, as to one untimely born, he appeared also to me.
9 For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me.

    3. Last one, for now…

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
16 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities-all things were created through him and for him.
17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
18 And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.
19 For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell,
20 and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.

    5. I'm a bit sorry that I have fallen into the trap of asking for explanations versus doing the research on my own. Besides, based on my attending Bible Study groups in the past, the Bible can have different interpretations and asking (nicely) for yours seems to work pretty well.

    6. The Bible, the real Bible, has 73 books. Luthor removing the 7 he did not like because they proved him wrong did not change the real Bible.

  5. The "Covering of the hair" is a local colloquialism for "Do not let your mind be open to false doctrine." A little common sense goes long way. Women are MORE susceptible to being manipulated by gossip, that is why specific Provision was made for them. Also the reason they should NEVER be "Priests." While I am no longer a believer I will say Christianity provided a stabilizing and civilizing force for most of mankind's inventive years. The Trouble today is the Churchians have endorsed sodomy and child sacrifice. What happened to The Crusaders that labored for 900 years to remove the plague of Islam from Europe? THAT^ is the kind of Chiristianity this world needs.
