The legs on that style of furniture always make me think they're about to collapse.

    1. Grundig or maybe Telefunken. NA lost interest in consumer radios with shortwave bands in the early fifties.

  2. Showing my age here, but I remember the furniture in our living room when I was a kid with legs like that. They called it "Danish Modern".

  3. The legs collapse when you attempt to drag it across the floor, instead of picking it up to move it.

  4. Seems they were never attached too well.

  5. The equivalent of built-in-obsolescence. It would fall over, break and get replaced.

  7. Inherited something similar. Filled with 500lbs (slight exaggeration) of tubes and 1960’s state of the art electronics. Takes 2 men to move. Too far gone for original music purpose, but I loved the style (mine is ornately crafted) and now use it as a one of a kind cocktail bar.
