And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
These customizations look entirely random and cosmetic; they don't seem to add anything to the functional nature of the beast. Bling, in other words. Now once, long ago, I saw photos of a customized 1911 that had every single edge rounded nicely and polished, and it looked perfectly streamlined...not an angle on it. It was a beauty to behold, and I wonder if a photo of it still exists?
