And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
If I needed a set this would be a good one but I have so much more already in a different brand/battery/voltage and a huge desire to keep what I can on one battery size.
I had a brief trip to Home Depot this morning and I was struck by how thoroughly Milwaukee has captured the hand and power tools market. Ridgid is still present, but only barely. Ryobi still has a small selection of entry-level power tools. Dewalt has maybe half of what they once had. And Milwaukee has products that Dewalt (and others) would have never considered. They were selling a Milwaukee insulated tumbler....$40. Someone will buy it, but I question their sanity.
seems to be a good price. my experience w/ dewalt tools is acceptable.

ReplyDeleteSorry but I’d rather get this from my local, independent, DeWalt-certified dealer.

Of all my Dewalt tools, those two are the ones used most of all.
ReplyDeleteI prefer corded & have gotten rid of all the battery crap. Cords last years longer than batteries & are cheaper to replace.
ReplyDeleteNope.
DeleteI've been using my Ryobi 18v drill at least weekly for more than 25 years with ZERO issues and lots of convenience. Costs about $45 today.

I've had a good experience with all my 18v Ryobi batteries and tools, even the string trimmer does a fine job with the 18v!
DeleteSorry, but Dewalt batteries suck. That's 30+ years of commercial construction management talking.
