And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
The sand is the wrong color for THE Empty Quarter, the Rub’ al Kali in south Saudi Arabia and parts of Oman and UAE. I have been to the edge of it from the Saudi side and the sand is orange-red in color, as well as all the other pictures of it I’ve seen.
Amazingly there are plants and animals, and even a few people, and oil, in the Empty Quarter but not for me no sir.
