  3. I learned to make French Toast from my Mom. I make it like she did only without sugar, which you really don't need.
    My secret is to use either potato or buttermilk bread, but any light bread that soaks up the batter works well. I top mine with honey, while my bride likes hers with plenty of butter. Good stuff.
