  2. That's pretty cheap for Japanese knives. Are they made by Ginsu (from the '80s)?

    1. No, go online and read about the company. They are a centuries old Japanese blade manufacturer that made Samuri swords.

  3. Damascus (laminated) steels were necessary for some hard uses before we developed the alloys we have today. They offer no advantage, other than marketing.
