Having been in the Housewares industry for 40 years, one of my many jobs was an independent sales representative for about 30 different companies. One of my customers in Philadelphia was Anthropologie and their home subsidiary URBAN OUTFITTERS. One divisional merchandise manager approached Giada to possibly be the spokesperson for their retail company. The not-so-decent woman had such impossible demands that Urban gave up on the idea. Both parties lost out.
