And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Nice collection again! Those switchbacks reminded me of one on a road east of Eugene Ore that was tight enough where I was not sure my Ford van was going to be able to do it in one turn. It was an 86, that van needed room to make turn!
seems like a lot of places one thinks they want to see , but never will ,one goes on wanting , if one has seen enough, then they happy never see it all just be like dog close eyes and dream a little each day
Memories, imagination, longing. Like reading, these photos evokes all three. You do a wonderful job of helping all three of those along and I believe I can speak for everyone that views these pages when I say "Job well done and many thanks for what you do!"
Great collection!
ReplyDeleteWhere is #32?

ReplyDeleteWith that redhead in the truck you could certainly leave your bolt cutters at home…
