  3. I'm guessing she doesn't sunbathe a lot, or there'd be a lot more freckles elsewhere.

  6. When I was young my hair was that color and hue and let me tell you it was a pain.
I never tanned, I burned and faded to a darker shade.
Today if I let myself go out in the summer sun with a sticky coating of sun block I get blisters. Happened at a one hour lunch in May this year.
My father had black curly hair, all his children were redheads. Mom's Danish blood.

    1. As kids, my brother's hair was red like her's is, mine was more reddish-auburn. Nobody took sun damage all that seriously back then, but like all our friends, we tried to tan. Looking back, all we ever did was turn different shades of red.

Now a half-century+ later, I'm seeing my dermatologist every six months and he regularly slices off 1-, 2-, and sometimes 3 suspicious hunks-o-my-hide. I'm spending enough with him that he probably looks at me as the guy who is paying for one of his kids' braces.

  7. While we are blessed with images of stunningly gorgeous young ladies on a consistent basis, hands down, this is one of the best-looking young ladies ever.

    1. Back in the day when a red headed woman wore a green outfit, we'd call her "Carrot Top." It was meant to be a humorous ribbing.
