  2. It looks very much like the ill~fated Canadian Arrow. The then~government even had the prototypes destroyed, and we got the wonderful Bomarc missile, and our entire aeronautic industry went south. Ah, po li ti cians. . .

  3. SAAB J35 Draken interceptor. Developed in 1950s. Western Europe’s first supersonic jet, could go Mach 2. The “Cobra Maneuver” was first developed with this jet to counteract “super stalls” or deep stalls.

  6. Hey Anon 6:55… one of the primary reasons the Arrow was canceled was because it was discovered that Avro was infested with Soviet spies and they didn’t want to share any more of the Arrow engineering with Russia…
