    3. He was my first blog stop every mornin' with coffee. He always led off with a little art/culture type stuff before he bludgeoned us back to reality... Good dude, sorely missed.

Y' donno what ur missin' (actually what you've missed).
what it is today and what it was 75 years ago when I was growing up are like day and night.
I told the wife as soon as Dinky 'n friends got in, "Pack up d' kids. We're skedaddlin'. Now!"
I left a good practice and moved cross-country to -----(wait for it)----Portland.
    OkK. Y' kin laugh niw.

  5. It is not permissible to give targeting data to the enemy but in this case, I'll allow it.

    1. So you support the mass murder of Americans. You know, like Al-Qaeda.

    2. Yeah when you consider Al-Qaeda was a cia recruited and funded organization. The cia and mossad were behind 911. The Bush family was in on it - all the way.

  6. Fell in love with a girl from NYC, if she had said yes; I'd still be there. But I left fifty years ago.

  7. Interesting that it shows all the water as blue. That place hasn't seen blue water there in 200 years.

  10. How is a satellite looking at NYC from that angle?
    I call BS.

  11. A lot of so-called satellite imagery, is actually shot from passing airliners, from various altitudes, under contract to Goog and others. I would assume, very hi res, if you have deep enough pockets. Look at the footer on some of gmaps stuff. There are also few low earth orbit sat companies doing this as well, but exactly what their output is and who their customers are, I can only guess...

    1. Agree. This is more likely aerial imagery. The elevation angle is not indicative of satellite imagery.
