  1. Actually a pretty reasonable price -3K- for an insert cutter head on a big bed. Just wait til you see what it costs to replace all the inserts, though. Regardless, a nice machine for the high end hobby woodworker.

      Each indexable carbide insert can be rotated up to three times to expose a new sharp edge. No more changing and resetting knives every time a blade gets dull.

  2. As "Anonymous" said, not really industrial, but upper-hobbyist. I like the helical blades, but my straight ones are much much much cheaper to sharpen.
