Weird, but probably useful

  1. We use a saw like that often, not that silly battery powered thing though. Great for getting mangled shafts out of boats.

  2. I have a 110volt milwaukee bandsaw. the cordless saws work just as well, since the limiting factor is the strength of the cutting blade. put excessive pressure on the blade and it may break. so the battery versions have a place

  3. Don't have a place for that one, and I have a fair amount of tools. I did however just purchase a Bosch electric hand planer kit, and it rocks.

  4. Millwrights used these sometimes at the mill I worked at.

  5. I've seen plumber videos where they use them.

  6. This is all good untill you have to continually buy new batteries. I have both cordless and old school tools that work just fine. So, I have a few of each. Thank heaven, I have a tool shed with underground electric. Unless you have solar chargers, you will still need electricity to charge the batteries. As to the cost, they come with there own problem, as most new tools including the batteries are made in China. My concern in this post is very simple, "When will we be our on best producer in the U.S.A., of all things possible".

  8. Got 2 battery- run Bosch tools- drill and saw. 3 batteries came w/them. They recharge quickly; have power enough; they're great!
