And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? I know a lot of folks believe that the fifties were the last great decade but I lean more towards the sixties. Lots of things pivoted in a bad way then but our greatest achievements came to fruition, especially in science and technology… Been a real s**t show since then.
Seriously? Women's birth control (the pill) and news (war news at least) went from the newsreels at movies to full color TV at the dinner table. FWIW My 71 VW bus with the 1600 dual port engine and front disk brakes was one of the best buses I ever owned! Roll down windows so I can hang my arm out the window :-)
