  2. Not all that familiar with the first offering but we have been gifted the El Almendro Turron with almonds.
    Wife enjoys a twice yearly or so Peruvian "King Kong" turron. Available from AMZ as "Turron de Doña Pepa San Jose 1.1 lbs (2 Pack) - https://www.amazon.com/Turron-Do%C3%B1a-Pepa-San-Jose/dp/B004VS6TFM.

    In Trujillo, Peru there's a local chocolatier "Dulcería Castañeda" that's been in business since 1925. Every bit a Peruvian institution. In addition to turron, they offer in-house prepared Italian style candies. Unfortunately, they do not export their products.
