And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Anon, at least you were hopping out a good helicopters and not a Robinson R-44 that has extremely poor autorotation success. Now the fact that you had a load of gear attached to you and that the water probably wasn't beautiful and warm like these adventurers have is different problem.
We had to do this a minimum of six times a year, not counting the real ones. USN, never again.
