And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
At first I thought it was a mid-60s Riviera, but then I saw the wheel covers and straight-back trunk - which made me think early 70s Chrysler-something.
full size imperial, sorry probably would have obliterated your chevys. One of the biggest barges built. Favorite of demo derby in the day. friggin HUGE.
That is a Barge. The Boats were the 2 door coupes. I had a 1982 Olds 98 that was a 2 door that was longer than a Supercab F150 with the 6.5 foot bed. The truck could fit in the garage but the car was too long to fit. With the front seat in the rear most position I could sit in the back seat and extend my leg where I could barely touch the front seat with my toe.
I had a blue 1969 coupe. Mom got it brand new. No idea what Dad was thinking. Blue cloth interior. Was like sitting in a very long, very dark cave. Could not see behind me. Yet was a terrific driver, powerful and dependable.
Friend of mine had a used 57 Chrysler Imperial in the mid 60's. You could seat four across the front bench seat in a pinch. Three across had space between each person. Despite the vehicles weight, it didn't lack power as the engine was HUGE, 392 cu.in. Hemi/325HP, four barrel carb.
Is that a Chrysler Imperial?

I believe this to be a 1969 Chrysler Imperial LeBaron 4 door. It probably had a 440 motor.
