  1. Ya, not make in the good old US of A if it's made in Commiefornia!

  2. You'd get run off the jobsite if you broke that out in my neck of the world.

  3. I have had one for about a year. I like it. Nice and quiet, and with an aluminum tank, you don't have to worry about rust. Much better than the Harbor Freight 3 gallon I had been using, and really doesn't take up any more space. Hey, I'm only using it to fix the air pressure in my tires a couple of times a year, so it doesn't need to be very rugged.

  5. Chinesium maybe, BUT: I do give them points for a thoughtful layout of controls and instrumentation. I still want mine to have an oil bath for the journals, though.

  6. Yup, made in Ka Li Fonia, Shanxi province PRC. Guess they can ship it all in 3 sections and assemble it in Newsome's basement.

  7. I have that brand, a slightly larger one. Very quiet. Not heavy. Owned it about 4 years now. No complaints. Writing this on my Chinese-made I Pad

  8. Damn good compressor for the money. Quiet, reasonable CFM, pretty much all any -small- shop needs. No, it won't run a sandblaster. It will run a fogger, paint gun, etc. It really hits the sweet spot in the price/performance/noise curve. Reccommended. BTW: diaphragm. No "journals"- at least in the usual sense.
