  2. I believe the Bug on top is a '55-'57. Oval rear window. My old '58 had the more rectangular rear window.
    I used to be able to say the differences between every year model, but it's been a long time. I think the last of the split rear windows was mid-'54. Correct me if I'm wrong.
    When I was just out of high school I knew a guy that had a '51. He's probably still got it, as he knew what he had even back then.
