And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I believe the Bug on top is a '55-'57. Oval rear window. My old '58 had the more rectangular rear window. I used to be able to say the differences between every year model, but it's been a long time. I think the last of the split rear windows was mid-'54. Correct me if I'm wrong. When I was just out of high school I knew a guy that had a '51. He's probably still got it, as he knew what he had even back then.
Truckers strike
