Could be useful for a lot of things

  1. Lee Valley Tools had a WiFi borescope that they listed as being for iPads. I realized that such a device just provided either a wireless access point which allows any device to connect, or it connected to your WiFi and allowed access that way. I wasn't disappointed. It isn't as shiny as this, but it works quite well, There are more controls on its internal web interface than in the accompanying 'app'.

    3. I recently got a Teslong NTS500 Pro Auto-Focus Inspection Camera with 5-inch HD Screen, with a 3 meter probe length. It's handy for checking all sorts of things around the house: drains, gutters (without having to climb a ladder), inside wall cavities, and other hard to reach areas. It takes photos and videos in 1920x1080 resolution. We just noticed birds making a nest in a low globular spruce tree so will see if we can get a peek at the nest without disturbing the birds too much.

Oh yeah, the instructions clearly state: "Do not use this device for personal inspection or medical use in any way. This is not a medical device." Not planning any "personal inspections" any time soon!

  3. I purchased the ELT16 from Klein. I never have been able to get it to work with the Klein app, it sort of works with a generic app. I would purchase somethingelse.
