And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
What is it with the French and the goofy long barreled pistols? I have a Unique model D3 22LR with the ridiculously long barrel, looks almost identical. Would be a nice little pocket carry otherwise.
Beretta is now marketing the Manurhin .357 Mag revolver that is supposedly used by some French Anti Terrorism unit. All the reviews say it's the most awesome .357 Mag ever and it does look good. Very very pricey.
Le expensive - apportant $$$ sil te plait
ReplyDelete22,500 Fr = $2.28... but I suspect that's not today's price since French Francs no longer exist. OTOH you can probably get one for $700 or so.
DeleteThe clothing would seem to be 1950's styling(or so)....did the French allow shooting by anyone, anywhere in France?....Asking for a friend.
ReplyDeleteA PP with a very long barrel, that defeats the point of it being a PP.

I'd rather have a Python.
My thinking is that it's probably better than my Smith and Wesson Model 19-4 but it ain't 3 times better.
