I believe the .307Win equates to a rimmed .308Win. Same bullet diameter, same case but with a rim, developed for lever guns. I saw a Winchester 94 once chambered in such. -Snakepit
Is the beautiful filigree on something like this engraved or applied - and if it's engraved doesn't it produce stress risers to weaken it under pressure?
