“Malo periculosam, libertatem quam quietam servitutem.”
That will blow the wax outa your ears! Where was that?
Guessing the Lebanon warehouse, about two years ago?
Here is a very interesting analysis of that explosion: https://vimeo.com/479844049
Just watched it. Good Stuff. Thanks the heads up.
Arabs sometimes get it exactly right. Some fresh real estate became instantly available.
A lot of innocent people lost their lives Greg. What you just said is totally fucked up.
Why did thee camera shake before the shockwave hit that bldg? Anybody?
The shockwave through the solid ground travels faster than the shockwave through air. For steel it can be 10x faster, for water 4x faster than air.
Used to build power lines in and around open pit copper mines. On the days that the mine would blast you would feel the shock wave underfoot way before the air shock wave. Especially fun when you were in your tools standing on a pole.
Wasn't that a fertilizer explosion? You know the stuff that is in short supply.
It was. There was another 'accident' further up the coast a couple weeks past. No news reports, but, it has a suspicious similarity *cough*nothingisEVERamistake*cough*....
The conspiracy theorists say that it was a huge, MOAB dropped from the sky. All sorts of nefarious, child trafficking type action going on underneath it. Tunnels and such. DUMBs. deep underground military bases. Stranger things have happened.
Opening a glass shop there would be a good economic opportunity.
Makes sense to get the clear Aluminum they've been working for, as a plate glass replacement.
