There are really only three things to learn in skiing: how to put on your skis, how to slide downhill, and how to walk along the hospital corridor. - Lord Mancroft

  4. With a color coded warning sign. While we can question such peoples' thinking, they greatly extend our understanding of what life can be.

  5. Until he grew up at about age 25 my oldest son was a skier who could and did ski stuff like that.

I couldn't look and eventually refused to go skiing with him.

He's 34 now with a kid of his own and we can ski together again, thank God.

  6. You have to admire skiers that have the skills and nerve to do this type of stuff all the time. I skied the lip at Tuckerman's ONCE in '75, I was young & confident, but I still about shit my pants coming down and was sore for days. Never tried anything like that again. Although a few years later I did marry a Scottish girl, that was pretty dangerous.
