Falling a big one

  1. I'm sorry, but falling a tree while sitting on your ass ten feet off the ground is not what I call smart. The first thing I would do is learn to operate that saw from the other side of the tree.

    1. Agreed. Just like mixing "lie" and "lay", which is endemic in real life as well as on the web, but what can you do about it?

  3. I think it should. I have never in my life heard anyone say "I'm gonna "fall" this tree.

    1. You would have heard it used that way if you hung around tree fallers. Local usage.

  4. It is 'falling' but I don't know why. He's also 'riding that springboard'.

  7. Sawyers are folks that you never want to piss off. They work all day lugging and working a saw and they get "off the scale" strong arms and shoulders. They can easily take your standard buffed out gym rat and tie him in knots.
