  2. The pointy bow gets a longer reach for that huge spinnaker to make it into a go-fast hull for downwind legs. Not sure if it complicates tacking. Been on small (6 meter) hulls a few times that were hardly racing setups. I learned to duck when coming about.

  4. I went to a wooden boat show up in Port Townsend Wa, there was a sailboat built by the Germans there, looked just like this, such a thing of beauty, unbelievable.
