And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Decided to go to Daytona motorcycle races at midnight one night. Washed my 76' El Camino SS 400 small block and loaded 2 Harleys by myself off a slope in my front yard (77 cafe and my 62 KR-TT factory road racer). Left Knoxville at 6:00 and was sitting at a beer stop next to the track at a little before 2:00. Wish I had that energy now! Bubbarust
It's got two ratchet straps pulling the rear tire into the corner, and sitting on a sidestand. I would have preferred more downpull on the front end, but it's adequate for short range travel.
There are a lot of great bikes out there. I don't trash other peoples choice. I suspect your favorite ride is furry and cries baaaha when you climb on! BR
They could make them but the market is not there. Find one and restore it. It would still be a better ride and without all the government crap that traces your every move! BR
You haven't looked very hard. There are a lot out there, and they all offer a great platform to restore or hotrod. Don't give up! ( I have a 76 SS 400 small block and a 87' ChooChoo last year that could be bought. Dig a little harder! Bubbarust
"60 El Camino with a 348....worth its weight in gold today.

ReplyDeleteWhy are old dogs and Harley's alike? Cuz they both like to ride in the bed of a pickup!

Why can't they make a pickup bed big enough for a motorcycle these days? Why can't they make an El Camino/Ranchero these days?
