In 1964 or 65 a kid that resided in the same dorm I was in showed up driving a Shelby Cobra in what I always thought of as British racing green. Prettiest car I have ever seen. So pretty I tried to stain a guitar I made that color. It is now called the "swamp moss green one".
Check the poster above the garages, the 18 car is a Vanwall, Stirling Moss, pilot. The women in a b+w flower skirt is most likely his sister, Pat. Her and Denise McCluggage competed in the ladies Cup races of the day and in the Monte Carlo Rally. They also raced in the men's events and regularly beat them.
