  2. I bought a used LP very similar to the one in the pik when I was 17 for $90 and played the hell out of it.

I put it in the closet when I entered the army at age 19 and when I came back 4 years later it was gone.

Nobody knew what happened to it. yeah right....somebody knew something....

The one I have now (quilted rootbeer) was bought new in 1986 for $600 and hardly 2 days goes by that I don't grab it up and dig in.

  3. Wanted to finally get a new Les Paul to replace the late 50s Black Beauty I sold in the late 70s. I discovered Heritage guitars and settled on a beautiful tobacco sunbutst H-157. Everything about it feels and sounds perfectly LP. Props toLeo Fender and his Strats and Tellies, but LPs rule.

    1. I've got a Gibson Goldie but honestly, I just bought a new Epiphone Ice tea burst LP and believe it or not, it's a better playing guitar (to me, anyway) than the Gibson. So much so that the GT is up for sale now. Epi has really upped their game the last couple years. Ditching the GIANT tombstone headstock also didn't hurt my feelings. : )
